Niklas Hellemann

Dr. Niklas Hellemann is a studied psychologist, an expert in Social Engineering as well as Co-Founder and CEO at SoSafe – a cybersecurity awareness provider and one of the most successful scale-ups in Germany. Before founding SoSafe, Niklas worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group for six years in the areas of people and organization. Niklas completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration at the RWTH Aachen University. In addition, he studied psychology at the University of Bonn and in the US as a Fulbright scholar – which led him to the human approach in the tech-savvy cyber security market. Niklas left BCG in order to strengthen digital self-defense worldwide and founded SoSafe together with his two co-founders in 2018. Based on behavioral science and data analytics, SoSafe supports companies in enabling their employees to behave safely in the digital world and establish a sustainable security culture in their organizations.
