Electrochaea is a Cleantech 100 growth stage power to gas company backed by leading strategic and financial investors. Our flexible, efficient and proprietary technology combines green hydrogen with carbon dioxide from any source to make BioCat Methane, a low-carbon intensity synthetic renewable methane that is a drop-in substitute for fossil natural gas. We have successfully injected renewable methane into the gas grids in both Denmark and Switzerland and are now raising capital to deploy our technology at commercial scale in Europe and North America, where BioCat Methane will contribute to decarbonisation of both transportation and existing natural gas infrastructure and add value to and store renewable energy.
