About Me
Guilhaume LEROY-MELINE is the CTO for Strategic Innovations at IBM Consulting and an IBM Distinguished Engineer, recognized for his work at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and scientific discovery. With almost two decades of experience, he has led pioneering initiatives that push the boundaries of what AI can achieve in science, business, and society.
Guilhaume holds an engineering degree in Material Sciences from INSA Lyon and a Specialized Master’s in Innovation from EM Lyon, which together underpin his unique blend of deep technical knowledge and strategic innovation leadership. His contributions include patents and publications in quantum and foundation model applications. He also serves as a peer reviewer for ICML and IEEE-TAI, contributing actively to the advancement of the AI research community. He co-supervises the work of PhD Students in collaboration with Academics Laboratories.
