About Me

As the CEO of Deezer, Alexis Lanternier is dedicated to creating innovative monetization opportunities for artists and songwriters, while championing unique and personalized music experiences for fans. Before Deezer, Alexis spent over 14 years building digital consumer platforms across multiple industries, most recently co-founding Branded, a leading digital-first consumer goods company. He also served as EVP of Walmart Canada’s e-commerce division, where he played a key role in growing its online grocery business into a multi-billion-dollar operation. Earlier in his career, Alexis was CEO of Lazada Singapore, a leader in Southeast Asia’s e-commerce market, where he steered the company through major strategic initiatives, including the acquisition of Redmart and the launch of the LiveUp subscription service with partnerships with Netflix and Uber. Alexis began his career at Boston Consulting Group and Amazon, where he led large-scale transformation projects and managed key categories in media and apparel. He is a graduate of École Polytechnique (X2002) and HEC (2006)
