About Me

Paul Herent is a radiologist with an MD and a master's in cognitive science. He co-founded Raidium in 2022, a Paris-based company developing foundation model based AI models for radiology and precision medicine. Before Raidium, he was the first MD employee at Owkin, a unicorn  AI-focused healthcare company. Raidium has raised $16 million in funding, with the latest seed round in November 2024 led by Newfund and Kurma Partners. Paul's research in AI, radiology, and computer vision has been cited over 736 times.
