About Me

Nele Blum is a dedicated researcher in medical engineering, currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Fraunhofer IMTE and the University of Lübeck. She holds both a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. degree in Medical Engineering. Her expertise lies in CT image reconstruction and deep learning for medical image processing, with a particular focus on metal artifact correction. She also is Co-Founder of the spin-off ASAP research automation focused on histological image analysis. As the CTO, Nele is passionate about developing new AI-solutions to accelerate research from months to minutes.
