Lindsey Taylor Wood

Lindsey is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Helm, an early-stage venture capital firm backing health and climate tech companies founded by women. Under her leadership, The Helm has launched two venture funds, invested in over 35 portfolio companies, built a 150+ member women-led angel syndicate, and grown a newsletter community of 60,000 readers. The Helm also created a content and commerce platform, which was acquired in 2021. Prior to founding The Helm, Lindsey spent her career at the intersection of women’s rights, impact investing, and philanthropy. Through her impact agency, LTW, she advised high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and celebrities, with clients including AOL’s MAKERS, Women Moving Millions, The Harnisch Foundation, The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, and filmmakers Rashida Jones, Jill Bauer, and Ronna Gradus, among others. Lindsey currently serves on the boards of Testmate and Snag.
