About Me
Abdullah Al-Haqbani is currently the Vice President of Strategy & Business Enablement at the National Technology Development Program (NTDP). In this role, he plays a key part in shaping the future of Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem, driving national-level programs that support tech startups and scale innovation across sectors. His work includes leading major initiatives such as AI and Semiconductor enablement initiatives.
Prior to joining NTDP, Al-Haqbani held several senior positions across both government and private sectors. He served as Strategy Director at the Saudi Tourism Investment Company (ASFAR) and was a Manager at Ernst & Young (EY), where he led transformation and strategy projects across multiple government entities. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at the Ministry of Civil Service, including Director of the Project Management Office and Head of the Vision Realization Office, where he drove key public sector reform initiatives aligned with Vision 2030.
Al-Haqbani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University and has completed executive education programs from Harvard University, Wharton, Syracuse University, and Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship.
