About Me
Danila De Stefano was born in Naples in 1992. After earning her degree in Clinical Psychology from Sapienza University of Rome, she moved to London, where she spent a year as a research assistant at Goldsmiths University and worked in various
psychiatric clinics and charities.
As an expat, she struggled to find psychological support in her native language. This challenge sparked the idea of creating a video-based psychological support service, leading to the launch of Unobravo in 2019.
Today, Unobravo is a Benefit Corporation and a leading platform for online psychology, operating in Italy, Spain, and France with a team of over 7,200
psychologists and psychotherapists, more than 300,000 patients, and a core team of over 300 people. The company has also established itself in the corporate welfare sector, providing mental health support services to employees of numerous
businesses.
Recognised as one of the most influential and active figures in the field, Danila De Stefano is dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health. Through her own journey, she serves as an inspiration to women aspiring to build entrepreneurial
ventures capable of transforming the world of work.
She was featured in Forbes Italy’s “Under 30” list in 2021 and named "Entrepreneur of the Year" in the startup category by EY in 2022. In 2024, she was included in Forbes' 100 Successful Italian Women and Fortune Italy’s 40 Under 40—a ranking of young
leaders shaping the country’s future.
Among her many prestigious accolades, Danila De Stefano was recognised in the "Visionary" category as one of the 15 most innovative and successful business leaders at the 10th edition of the CEO Italian Summit & Awards.
In January 2024, she was appointed Vice President of Giovani Imprenditori Milano, a
role that highlights her commitment to fostering meaningful connections and synergies within the young entrepreneurial ecosystem.
