About Me
At the age of 19, I entered a monastery and spent six transformative years as a monk. At 24, I left for Taiwan as a missionary, where I immersed myself in Mandarin Chinese. After leaving monastic life, I pursued formal studies in Paris, earning a degree in international Trade and a Bachelor's in Chinese. In 1991, I joined ALSTOM Transport, where I spent 16 years - five of them in Shanghai managing a major metro project. My deep commitment to learning Mandarin never stopped, and through years of practice and teaching, I developed a groundbreaking language method tailored specifically for non-native speakers. This innovative approach was eventually digitized, leading to the creation of MandarinMaster in November 2024 - a platform designed to make Mandarin learning intuitive, effective, and inspiring.
