Philippe Wahl

Philippe Wahl is a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and the ENA, holding a post-graduate degree in Economic Sciences. First, he joined the French Council of State as an auditor and master of requests and becomes a special advisor to the head of the French stock exchange commission in 1986. In 1989, he was made Technical Economic Affairs Advisor to the prime minister and, in 1997, he took the role of Specialised Financial Services Manager at Paribas. He then became the GM of the Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne, then of the Havas group, then Vice President of the Bolloré group, then the France director of the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2007. In January 2011, he became Chairman of La Banque Postale’s management board and Executive Vice President of Le Groupe La Poste. In 2013 Philippe Wahl became Chairman and CEO of the group La Poste and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of La Banque Postale.
