Plug and Play’s investment thesis focuses on B2B SaaS solutions (If the focus is on energy, hardware can also be considered, though we always prefer a combined software-hardware solution.), strong founding teams with complementary skills and relevant experience (ideally with previous exits), some level of traction or pilot programs, and a clean cap table. We generally avoid solo founders or uneven equity splits.
