About Me
Since 2013, Catherine LAMBERT has headed Cerfacs (European Center for Research and Advanced Training in Scientific Computing), a company dedicated to research, development, transfer and training for modeling, simulation and high-performance computing. Cerfacs designs, develops and offers innovative methods and software solutions in the fields of aeronautics, space, climate, environment and energy.
Catherine LAMBERT is a graduate of ENSEEIHT, with a PhD and HDR in signal processing. She was an auditor at the IHEST and obtained the CPA Business Manager diploma from TBS.
She developed extensive expertise in on-board data processing, particularly data compression, at Cnes from 1989 onwards. From 2004 to 2013, she was head of the “Technical Animation and Preparation for the Future” department at the Toulouse center.
In February 2022, Catherine LAMBERT was appointed France 2030 Digital Ambassador.
