About Me

Alain Lavoie has over 25 years of experience in language understanding, specializing in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and AI. His work helps organizations turn unstructured information into actionable insights. In 2019, he co-founded LexRock AI, a spin-off from Irosoft, leveraging decades of expertise and IP in the legal domain. LexRock AI focuses on developing and commercializing AI-powered, language-centric solutions for sectors such as finance, insurance, legal, and cybersecurity. A key figure in Quebec’s tech ecosystem for nearly two decades, Alain is known for his advocacy for SMEs and for promoting digital innovation. He is an active speaker and sits on several advisory boards, helping to democratize and guide the responsible use of AI.
