About Me

Kat believes technology should drive progress. She’s an advocate for open knowledge, having served as an open data advisor to the French Prime Minister's Office, Director of the Open Data Institute Paris, and co-founder of open innovation agency Five by Five (acquired by Capgemini). A French-Filipino, Kat led key initiatives in both France and the Philippines, including leading the French Tech Mission under President Macron to strengthen France’s startup ecosystem and mobilizing 500 developers after a deadly typhoon in the Philippines. As Contentsquare's first Chief Impact Officer, Kat led its sustainability transformation. She’s now a Board Member of the European Innovation Council and on the French Red Cross’s Strategic Foresight Committee. Named one of UNESCO's "50 Minds of the Next 50 Years" in 2022 and an "Obama Leader" in 2023, Kat is recognized for her commitment to advancing the common good.
