About Me

Julien is a General Partner at SE Ventures, a $1.1B AUM Climate Tech and Industrial Tech VC based in Menlo Park, CA, backed by Schneider Electric. With over 15 years of experience in investing, he has focused on climate tech and industrial tech like Plug Power, Ynsect, Naskeo, Ostrom, and Afyren. His career journey includes a start in private equity at Citigroup, followed by leading Air Liquide group’s Corporate Finance and M&A in Europe. Before joining SE Ventures, he was a General Partner at Supernova Invest, a leading deep tech VC in Europe. Prior to that, he co-founded and co-headed the CVC of the Air Liquide group, a global leader in industrial gases. Julien holds an MSc in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, France, with specialization in Organization and Industrial Engineering from ICADE-ICAI University in Madrid, Spain.
