Yazeed Al-Shamsi

Yazeed Al-Shamsi is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ejari, the leading Rent Now Pay Later platform transforming the rental market in Saudi Arabia. With extensive experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, and Product Market Development, he is a key figure in financial innovation. Mr. Al-Shamsi began his career at Mizuho in Tokyo, where he built a strong foundation before moving into pivotal roles in private equity and investment banking across Dubai and Riyadh. His strategic insights were recognized during his time as a Board Member for several portfolio companies of the Gulf Japan Food Fund, where he contributed to significant growth and value creation. He later joined the Saudi Exchange, leading the development of the exchange’s fixed income, funds, and structured products platform. His leadership extended to representing the exchange in the Capital Markets Authority’s Debt Market Development Committee and the World Federation of Exchanges Fixed Income Advisory Board. Mr. Al-Shamsi holds a Marketing degree from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. His early career included internships with American Express and JP Morgan. Additionally, he was honored as a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum’s Riyadh Hub, reflecting his commitment to community development.
