As VivaTech gets ready to take over Paris once again, the area around Porte de Versailles is set to become a hotspot for tech, talks, and networking. But there’s more to discover beyond the conference walls. In partnership with Paris Je t’aime, we’ve curated a selection of must-visit places to eat, relax, and experience a different side of the city, all just steps away from the action.

Go Beyond the Postcards

Culturally, Paris has more to offer than postcards and monuments. If you're looking to uncover the city’s creative pulse, these off-the-radar museums and cultural spots offer a refreshing mix of art, history, and local perspectives.

Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art - This foundation presents contemporary art exhibitions and immersive installations, blending modern culture and innovation.

Fresh Air Fix

Between meetings and demos, don’t forget to recharge in nature. Luckily, Paris offers more than just grand boulevards and busy cafés. Step into one of these nearby parks for a dose of fresh air, a moment of calm, or even a walking meeting. All just a short stroll from the VivaTech venue.

Parc de l’Île aux Cygnes - This park is a serene spot along the Seine River. It features peaceful pathways and a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. It also contains the Statue of Liberty, a smaller replica made by the same French artist who designed the Statue of Liberty in New York as a gift.

Paris 15th

Jardin Atlantique - Situated above the Gare Montparnasse, this park offers panoramic views of the city and lush greenery. It’s an elevated garden, perfect for a quiet stroll or relaxing on one of its benches.

1 Pl. des Cinq Martyrs du Lycée Buffon, Paris 15th

Georges Brassens Park - Opened in 1985, this park covers an area of 8.7 hectares of sloping land which housed the Périchaux vineyard in the 18th century. The park’s alleys, which bear the names of some of George Brassen's songs, recall the French singer-songwriter’s memory.

2 Pl. Jacques Marette, Paris 15th

Petite Ceinture du 15e - The Petite Ceinture was a railroad that surrounded Paris in the 1800s. Since 2006, the city of Paris and the SNCF have committed to gradually rehabilitating the Petite Ceinture and opening its spaces to walking. Its route has become an ecological corridor, full of wild vegetation where animal species have been able to develop. This stretch of the “little belt” links both the Georges Brassens and André-Citröen Parks.

From 101 rue Olivier-de-Serres to Place Balard. Other access points: 397ter-399 rue de Vaugirard, opposite 82 rue Desnouettes, Place R. Guillemard
