VivaTech is the world’s rendez-vous for startups and leading corporates to celebrate digital transformation and innovation!

Every year, for four adrenaline-filled days, VivaTech brings together in Paris the greatest business leaders, startups, investors, researchers and innovators to ignite positive change in business and for society.

The 8th edition will take place on
May 22-25, 2024, in Paris, at Expo Porte de Versailles.

Our Challenge

  • Catalyzing sustainable water footprint


    Freshwater use, one of the 9 planetary boundaries, was transgressed in 2022. As tensions crystallize around the allocation of the water resource, we can all play our part in reducing our water footprint, by reusing it and alleviating the pressure on freshwater resources.

Selection Criteria

The selected startup should have :

Geography: Europe (incl Israël) and North America

Maturity: Technology Readiness Level 5 minimum (meaning past the demonstration pilot stage)

Business Model: BtoB

Solutions' ownership: Must own its IP (or have exclusive access to it)

WaterTech area of interest: water metrology, water reserve forecast, water purification, industrial reuse & reut, desalination

Potential of synergies with the EDF Group: co development, R&D, white labelling, expansion to a new market
