Tech for Change: Meet the Finalists

Tech for Change is a new flagship initiative at VivaTech 2025, recognizing startups whose core business models tackle major environmental, social, or societal challenges. This initiative highlights how technology can be a force for good, promoting innovation that drives meaningful impact. Over 300 startups have be selected and awarded the official Tech for Change recognition, benefiting from exclusive visibility during the 4-day event. These startups also had the chance to be selected as one of the five finalists for the Tech for Change Award.

The Tech for Change Award, with Axionable as Knowledge Partner, will be awarded to one standout startup from the group recognized as part of VivaTech 2025’s impact-driven initiative. The finalists will pitch their solutions live on the Pitch Studio stage on Wednesday, June 11 at 2:25 PM and the winner will be announced during the Global Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 12 at 5:45 PM on Stage One.

Tech for Change Award Finalists:

Genesis - France

Genesis, founded in 2019, is a startup focused on sustainable solutions for farmers and ecosystems. Their AI-powered platform helps farmers monitor and restore soil health, turning degraded land into fertile ecosystems. By analyzing biological and chemical indicators in real-time, Genesis delivers actionable insights that boost productivity and promote regenerative farming

.lumen - Romania

Founded in 2020, .lumen provides solutions visually impaired through groundbreaking assistive technology. Their smart glasses emulate the capabilities of a guide dog using a fusion of AI, advanced sensors, and real-time spatial computing. By enabling safe, intuitive navigation without canes or animals, .lumen empowers blind individuals with greater autonomy and confidence in everyday life.

Alveolix - Switerland

Alveolix is redefining respiratory research with its groundbreaking "lung-on-chip" technology. Based in Switzerland, the startup offers physiologically relevant human lung models that accelerate drug development and disease modeling. From asthma to COVID-19, Alveolix is giving researchers a powerful window into the world of lung health.

Reveal AI - Canada

Reveal AI is a Canadian innovator transforming how we understand complex data. Since its foundation in 2022, their platform rapidly uncovers hidden patterns, trends, and actionable insights that were previously impossible to detect. From finance to public safety, Reveal AI’s solutions empower organizations to make smarter, faster decisions, unlocking new opportunities and driving impactful results across industries.

Beekee - Switzerland

Beekee is a Swiss startup democratizing education with technology that brings interactive learning anywhere. Its flagship product, the Beekee Box, creates a local Wi-Fi hotspot that hosts interactive training content, no internet or electricity needed. Their portable servers and learning tools empower educators to deliver engaging digital content in remote or underserved areas.
