About Me

Luca is a Partner at Atomico based in London and joined the firm in 2018. He focuses on Atomico’s growth stage investing, with a particular focus on the b2b software space. He sits on the boards of, or is involved with, Atomico investments into Aiven, Attentive, ChannelEngine, Factorial HR, Bird (formerly MessageBird), Raycast, Scoutbee and TestGorilla, amongst others. Furthermore, he historically also was involved with Atomico investments into Graphcore (acquired by Softbank), Peakon (acquired by Workday), Pipedrive (majority investment from Vista Equity Partners) and Quid (merged with NetBase). Prior to joining Atomico, Luca spent five years in Silicon Valley. Most recently, he worked at San Francisco-based private equity firm Vector Capital, where he was involved with multiple growth equity investments and leveraged buyouts in the vertical applications and infrastructure software spaces. Luca began his career at MergerTech Group, a Bay Area-based technology investment bank, where he advised mid market companies on M&A and financing processes. Luca holds a Master of International Business with a concentration in Corporate Finance from Hult International Business School in San Francisco, as well as a BA in International Management with a concentration in hospitality management from IU, IUBH School of Business & Management in Germany.
