About Me

Julie Bornstein is the Founder and CEO of Daydream, a new shopping platform that reimagines search for fashion, launching in spring 2025. Most recently, Bornstein was the Founder and CEO of THE YES, an AI-powered shopping startup for women’s fashion that was acquired by Pinterest in 2022 for its groundbreaking technology and extensive brand partnerships roster. Prior, Bornstein held leadership roles at startups including Stitch Fix, where she served as the COO and Board Member, helping to scale the company to $1 billion in under six years. She also built and led e-commerce at multi-channel retailers including Sephora as the CMO and Chief Digital Officer, as well as at Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters. Julie currently serves on the Board of Directors for three public companies -- sweetgreen, Redfin and WW (Weight Watchers) -- and as an advisor to multiple start-ups. Julie has a BA and MBA from Harvard and lives in the Bay Area.
