IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) is a French research and training player in the fields of energy, mobility and the environment. From scientific concepts through to technological solutions, innovation is central to its activities, hinged around strategic directions: climate, environment and circular economy – renewable energies – sustainable mobility. As part of the mission entrusted by the public authorities, IFPEN focuses its efforts on bringing solutions to the challenges facing society and industry in terms of energy and the climate,. IFP School, its graduate engineering school, prepares future generations to take up these challenges. IFPEN's model is based on the transfer to industry of the technologies developed by its researchers. Innovations are brought to market through partnerships with industrial players and through IFPEN subsidiaries. In addition, IFPEN supports the development of start-ups as part of collaboration agreements, contributing its technical and legal expertise.
