Emulsion Flow Technologies Ltd.

Emulsion Flow Technologies Ltd. (EFT) is a startup company established in April, 2021, launched from Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), and dedicates to achieving our vision “LEAD ‘Our Limited RARE METAL’ to the FUTURE”. Using the innovative solvent extraction technology “Emulsion Flow”, which was developed by JAEA, we have been developing the technology that recovers rare metals contained in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) with high purity at low cost and high efficiency, and that enables a horizontal recycling that allows the recovered rare metals to be directly reused in LIBs. EFT is contributing to the future for stable supply of rare metal resources that are essential for the accomplishment of a carbon neutral society.
