Jack MA, Executive Chairman of Alibaba Group will speak at Viva Technology in Paris

Paris, May 9th, 2019 – Jack MA, Executive Chairman of Alibaba Group, co-founder of the global technology and commerce giant, will speak on VivaTech’s Stage One on the 16th of May to share his insights and vision.

At the heart of Jack Ma’s philosophy is his belief in the transformative power of the internet to level the playing field and create opportunities for entrepreneurs and SMEs around the world. This mission is at the heart of Alibaba Group’s success.

Alibaba is the largest mobile and online commerce company in the world with nearly 700 million consumers on its marketplaces connecting with millions of SMEs and more than 180,000 brands and retailers. Last year merchants on Alibaba’s platforms generated US$768 billion in sales (GMV).

Jack Ma announced that he will step down as Executive Chairman in September 2019, turning the reins over to CEO Daniel Zhang. Ma has said he will dedicate more time to his philanthropic activities around the world.
