Drones for Yachts revolutionises drone delivery at sea

After more than three years of research and development, the innovative drone delivery technology and service is finally a reality.

In just a few months, a company has succeeded in combining the need for innovation with the boom in the yachting sector.

Drones for Yachts (DY) is a major player in the technological development of ports and marinas by offering an innovative, sustainable service with a high- end approach.

Implemented in various ports and marinas in the Mediterranean, the DY solution is the first step towards the democratisation of drone deliveries, as the last mile approaches.

As an operator, DY is involved in the entire supply and delivery chain through a marketplace that merchants and customers use intuitively to
deliver or have delivered products weighing up to 5 kilograms in 15 minutes throughout the Mediterranean and soon the Caribbean.

In partnership with Eurolink Systems, DY has designed a professional drone made in Italy that has been acclaimed by numerous institutions for its technical performance and its very low noise impact.

DY's solution for exceptional product delivery in record time was born out of the realisation that traditional modes of transport used for last mile delivery have a significant environmental and climate impact on cities. These modes of transport are estimated to be responsible for 25% of CO2 emissions in cities. More specifically, within marinas, delivery at sea is currently only possible by speedboat or helicopter. A speedboat used to deliver at sea discharges more than 30% of its oil and fuel into the sea and has consequences on the traffic of the port.

Drones for Yachts will reveal its service to the general public at the international trade fair Viva Technology - in Paris, from 15 to 18 June 2022 - and also aims to be present at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 - in Monaco from 25 to 27 September 2022.
