 Every year, for four adrenaline-filled days, VivaTech brings together in Paris the greatest business leaders, startups, investors, researchers and innovators to ignite positive change in business and for society. 

 The 8th edition will take place on May 22-25, 2024, in Paris, at Expo Porte de Versailles.

Challenge 1: GENERATIVE AI CHALLENGE

Introduction: 
Orange strategic plan Lead the future_ with its four pillars is a springboard to boost Generative AI usages. Two playgrounds are already addressable to generate value thanks to open innovation: the customer experience and the “platformization” of the telecom operators. 
As we chart a course towards an innovative future, our first focus is on harnessing Generative AI in the realm of marketing to redefine and enhance products and services. Our goal is to deepen customer engagement, going beyond traditional expectations in today’s dynamic digital world. 
As a telecom operator we have a second focus to revisit our technology function relying on Generative AI. Our goal is to reinvent the usual processes to install and operate our technology resources, by introducing new capabilities to improve these processes. 
Orange has adopted a Data and Artificial Intelligence Ethical Charter that paves the way of responsible AI approach. Solutions should comply with the 6 principles of this charter, also in line with new Enterprise model and its Corporate Social Responsibility commitments as expressed in Lead The Future_ strategic plan. 
The objectives are to revolutionize Marketing and Design with Generative AI in Products and Services and to reshape IT and network processes with Generative AI in Technology Resources.

We have identified pivotal areas for collaboration with creative startups specializing in

A- an emphasis on revolutionizing marketing strategies and customer experiences:
 
1. Marketing Innovation with Generative AI in Customer Experience:
 
- Employing Generative AI to revolutionize marketing approaches in
product design and functionality, offering unique, tailored experiences to customers. 
- Seeking solutions where Generative AI brings a fresh perspective to marketing, enhancing smart product features, usability, empathetic customer engagement. 
2. Service Marketing Transformation with Generative AI:
 
- Applying Generative AI to evolve service marketing, ensuring greater efficiency, accuracy, and heightened customer satisfaction. 
- Looking for tools powered by Generative AI that transform service
marketing, empowering employees, offering personalized customer
support and seamless interactive experiences. 

B- a deep evolution of our processes and tooling to manage our IT and network infrastructures
 
1. Infrastructure setup and automation with Generative AI
 
- Increasing the pace of installation and commissioning thanks to automated actions derived from experience and expertise and included in Generative AI 
- Developing telco platformization capacities through smart automation features embedded in Generative AI solutions 
2. Operations and acceleration of troubleshooting with Generative AI
 
- Creating a greater flexibility on operational models and processes thanks to Generative (and specialized) AI
 
- Using Generative AI to ease root cause analysis with continuous
monitoring diagnostics of infrastructure through 360° query capabilities involving product and service knowledge 

Expected Solutions: 
Solutions should be innovative, centered around marketing or telco infrastructure, and
demonstrate a significant enhancement in the marketing of products and services or in the
infrastructure operations through the use of Generative AI.

experts supporting corporate businesses with compliance, protection,
detection and response. 
Introduction: 
Though the cyber threat landscape appears to be volatile, fast-changing and chaotic at first
glance, it is driven by systemic forces. Reading these forces will result in better, more
effective prevention, detection and response. That is why intelligence is at the heart of
everything we do with our teams, partnerships with top-tier vendors, threat intelligence and
in-house R&amp;D including a CERT and Epidemiology Lab. 
Our Orange Cyberdefence subsidiary will reach €1 billion in revenue in 2023, supports 8,500
customers with an international reach that includes Europe, the Americas, Africa, Middle
East and Asia Pacific.
 
Context / Need: 
We have identified pivotal areas for collaboration with creative startups specializing in
Cybersecurity, with 
A - Automation of cyber security tools and services (build & run) 
B - Vulnerability analysis &amp; cyberscore evaluation 
C - Threat intelligence management 
D - Cyber protection of 5G private networks

Solutions should be innovative, telco carrier grade, quickly auditable and have already demonstrate a commercial success. The key to evaluating a new partner for Orange Business is its ability to stand out from the competition in its market.
