VivaTech is the world’s rendez-vous for startups and leading corporates to celebrate digital transformation and innovation! 

 Every year, for four adrenaline-filled days, VivaTech brings together in Paris the greatest business leaders, startups, investors, researchers and innovators to ignite positive change in business and for society. 

 The 8th edition will take place on May 22-25, 2024, in Paris, at Expo Porte de Versailles.

Introduction: 
We're looking for ambitious startups offering disruptive AI based solutions shaping a future where technology is not just advanced, but also ethical and sustainable. To be eligible your company must address at least one of these pillars: Responsible & Ethical AI and AI for Good. 
1) Responsible & Ethical AI 

Your innovation should address the ethical challenges faced by AI and suggest ways to mitigate them, ensuring that AI technology is used for the common good (fairness, explainability, accountability, and privacy in AI technology).
 

2) AI for Good 

Your startup uses AI to tackle some of the world's most pressing issues and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Whether it's climate change, healthcare, education, or social welfare, we want to see how your AI solutions can contribute to a better society and planet. Your project should illustrate a clear, beneficial impact on people's lives or environment.

Selection Criteria

• Theme: Your startup must address at least one of the two pillars in line with the challenge: Responsible & Ethical AI and AI for Good. 

• Commercial Viability: The commercial viability of the startup, including revenue generation, an active existing client portfolio (at least 2), and its growth potential in collaboration with KPMG and its clients. 

• Team: The composition and development potential of the team. 

• Scalability:The scalability of the solution in various contexts and according to user demands.
